Spiritual formation is the lifelong process of opening ourselves up to God.  There are many ways in which we go through the opening up process as we are transformed—prayer, worship, Bible reading, study, fasting, journaling, works of mercy and Christian conversation.  As we are transformed, we grow in the following ways:  know and experience God through Jesus Christ; claim and live God’s promises; and grow and serve as disciples.  The entire list of spiritual practices (John Wesley called them a Means of Grace) work together in our transformation process.

The Spiritual Formation classes offered are designed with two main goals in mind.  The first is to offer class choices to assist you on the journey as you open yourself up to God and His plan for your life.  The second is to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to study and grow in community.

Spiritual Gifts

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the samd Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.

Do you know what your spiritual gifts are? Learn more about what the Bible says about spiritual gifts and take the assessment online to better understand your own.
